140 Million: the current spending cap F1 teams must abide by for the 2022 season. This cap applies to anything car related, i.e, you can only do some many upgrades adjustments, etc. The rule was first implemented in 2021 to try and generate more competition between richer and less well-funded teams. F1 is just an expensive science competition.

• The New York Yankees are currently ranked #1 in the AL East, but you wouldn’t know it based on their performance last night. Come the 9th inning, pitcher Clay Holmes suddenly crumbled like a nature valley bar. He walked Reds’ Tommy Pham on five pitches and from there, gave up hit after hit after hit.

Watching Holmes in the post game video made me so sad though- it was like watching a golden retriever who accidentally destroyed the new toy you got them….

Baltimore Orioles (4) vs Chicago Cubs (2):

• The Baltimore Orioles win against the cubs yesterday marked their ninth win in a row; why does that matter? Well for the first time since 2017, they are an 0.500 or better club (in human language because I broke up with numbers after AP Calc- they win 50% of their games). They also hold the longest winning streak in all of the MLB right now. Gotta love a glow up!!!

Meanwhile, former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, who worked to bring Trevor Reed (former US Marine) home from Russia earlier this year, is reportedly in Russia, now working to bring Griner home.
