RECAP: Ravens Show Up the Steelers
The Ravens made quick work of the Steelers, like my baby nephew at dinner time, slinging his veggies across the room. Baltimore's defense shut down the Steelers’ offense, and QB Lamar Jackson did his usual thing, looking like he was playing Madden with the defense stuck on Rookie mode. And RB Derrick Henry showed up to play, too. The Ravens are shaping up to be real Super Bowl contenders. With two games left in the regular season, both teams are tied for first in the AFC North, so their holiday season will have more drama than the Hallmark movies your grandma will be watching this week.

RECAP: Commanders Capitalize & Eagles’ Crash and Burn
Mercury must be in retrograde — that’s the only explanation for the flaming trash can of a game that befell the Eagles yesterday. Only minutes into the game, QB & heartthrob Jalen Hurts left the game with a concussion. Then star linebacker Josh Sweat went down with an ankle injury. Backup QB Kenny Pickett struggled to keep the game moving, even leaving at one point as well with an arm injury. Then, safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson was ejected for racking up too many fouls. After all of this, the Eagles still had a shot to win… but still managed to ghoul it. Even though the birds were not at their best, we have to give credit to Commanders QB Jayden Daniels. He basically secured his rookie of the year status with this game. Now, the Eagles are still seeking to clinch the NFC East, whereas the Commanders have kept their playoff hopes alive… for now.

PREVIEW: Ravens at Texans, Wednesday 4:30pm
The Ravens are coming off of only three days rest since their last game, but they just defeated the Steelers handily. QB Lamar Jackson has been leading this team to Super Bowl dreams and their defense is moving like a bunch of coworkers who finally figured out the office coffee machine. But the Texans will come out swinging. They’re younger, scrappier, and second-year QB C.J. Stroud has a chip on his shoulder the size of a Super Bowl ring. However, in their last game against the Chiefs, teammate Tank Dell exited the game with a gruesome knee injury. That means one less target for C.J., but you know they’ll be playing with even more purpose. I don’t know about you, but I’d love to see an underdog victory this Christmas.

Gossip Corner

Tiger Woods and Son Bonding
In a totally relatable scene, Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie, embraced after Charlie hit his first ever hole-in-one. The two were competing together in the annual PNC Championship, which is a family team event (aka, a meeting of some of the most athletic families ever). Now, if I could just shoot under 100, maybe my relationship with my Dad would be this good, too…

That’s all for this Monday, folks. Happy Holidays, hope you enjoy some well earned PTO. Speaking of, we won’t be publishing an issue on Wednesday this week, so see you on Friday!
